This course invites you to step into a deeper, more spacious way of engaging Scripture—one grounded in the spiritual path Jesus himself modeled. Rather than treating the Bible as a rulebook or a source of rigid doctrines, Jesus approached it as a living text—one that speaks through symbol, story, and spirit.
Here, you won’t be asked to memorize verses or defend dogma. You’ll be invited to reflect, to question, to listen. Drawing from the Jewish tradition of midrash, we’ll explore how Scripture can be a conversation partner rather than a closed system. You’ll discover how Jesus used Scripture not to control or divide, but to liberate, heal, and deepen relationship—with self, others, and the divine.
This journey will encourage you to move beyond literalism, beyond fear-based reading, and into the territory of transformation. Each part of the course builds on the last, helping you develop the capacity to read spiritually—attending not only to what the text says, but to what it stirs within you. You’ll be challenged to bring your full self to the encounter, and to ask not “What does this mean objectively?” but “What does this ask of me?”
This is not a course about certainty. It’s a course about presence. About learning to see with the eyes of compassion, discernment, and inner freedom. If you’re ready to let go of rigid interpretations and step into a more relational, honest, and soul-centered way of engaging sacred texts, you are in the right place.
