Sample Response to Prompt 2
Write about a time when nature revealed itself as sacred.
It was a quiet morning, dew still clinging to the grass, and the sun barely brushing the tops of the trees. I knelt by the stream, the water murmuring over rocks, as if speaking a language I had once known. The air smelled of earth and pine, heavy with life. And in that stillness, everything shifted. The birdsong wasn’t just sound; it was a prayer. The way the light danced through the leaves wasn’t just beauty; it was holiness, alive and breathing. I was no longer apart from the world—I was of it, woven into its pulse, embraced by its sacredness. It was as if the land itself whispered, “You are home.”
